The Association disbursed monies to various fundraising efforts for educational enrichment at the high school, including the Lincoln Band Booster Club and the Black Colleges and Historical Sites tour, purchased uniforms, washer and dryers , purchased food for football camps, and the athletics dept.

The Association began volunteer efforts at Lincoln in 2012. Since LHDAA began a dedicated partnership of volunteerism with Lincoln High School, members have donated a many hours and in support of the principal, faculty, students, parents and community.

The Association participated in the annual Lincoln vs. Madison tailgate event. LHDAA was able to network with several members of other class alumni groups and create awareness of our existence. As a result, the association signed up 16 new members. LHDAA plans to make the Lincoln vs. Madison tailgate event an annual tradition for its membership drive as well as the annual Tiger picnic each year in Sept/Oct.
